About Me

Well, as you will probably know by now... I'm Dennis. A User Experience Designer working at MrWork in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

What is my motivation? I love to think about how people interact with digital products. I get enthusiastic about crazy ideas mixed with passionate people. As an intern, student and employee, I have been involved in a wide range of projects. From working with VR to chatbots for supermarkets and slack. And from working on dashboard flows to making product videos. I have a strong love for architecture illustrations and awesome website transitions. My everyday starts with black coffee and tab open with Awwwards.

In my spare time, I love to play the game of basketball. I vibe on hip-hop tracks. Old school, new school. I am a walking jukebox.

Want to contact me? Just hit me up on my Email and I will come over.

Rodesk | Rotterdam, Netherlands

Internship UX Designer | Sep 2015 - Feb 2016

My internship at Rodesk was very useful for my quest of becoming a good UX Designer. I was involved in a few of projects they were handling at the time. They took me in as a learning process so a lot of the time they were busy trying to learn me the design rules and how to handle everything. From how to use whitespace to grids and from line heights to how the user moves through an application.

Payin | Rotterdam, Netherlands

UX Designer | May 2016 - Dec 2016

I was asked to join a start-up company called Payin'. The main reason they wanted to add me to their team was because they needed an UX designer who wanted to think with the team instead of only designing. My role in this startup varied from doing research about the target group and brainstorming to making an interaction design and style guide.
